FINALLY, a cat fountain that has some style! Not only does it look great, but the cats seem to love it. One of them likes to drink from the top where the water comes out, the other prefers the basin part to drink out of. It's also fairly easy to clean - at least much easier than the old plastic one I had before. You MUST get this fountain... You'll LOVE it!

I recently ordered one of these ceramic water fountains and really like it. It is easy to assemble, its quiet, my two cats immediately went for it. It definitely stays cleaner than Drinkwell.
The only drawbacks to this fountain is that it does have to be refilled almost daily and you really have to watch that the top portion is placed correctly on the bowl otherwise, the water will go all over the floor. My cats are bad about putting their paw in the bowl and moving the top piece thus draining the bowl on the floor. So, I would not keep this connected if I were going out of town overnight and not able to check the bowl.
I really love the ceramic though. Its great, and not as harsh as the plastic fountains. This is a major step in the right direction, but could use a few improvements in design to keep that top piece from moving just slightly to where the water spills all over the floor.

I wanted a ceramic fountain because my kitten is prone to chin acne (often caused by plastics). Both my cats love this fountain and spend long periods of time drinking and dipping paws into it like raccoons. Its very easy to maintain, and being dishwasher-safe is a plus. It has a relaxing, pleasant sound. The previous pet fountain was quite noisy. It is a bit of a struggle to get the top piece properly situated with the pump outlet and bowl, but I'll probably get better with practice. Please know that the capacity is small, and you will need to top off the water level almost daily. Its a beautiful design and looks like an art piece.

Basically my title says all. I am contacting the company because after one use the motor I suppose gave out. VERY disappointed. I had done a lot of research and thought this was the best choice but was wrong.
