I am of the senior citizen class of 1938. I have had many tools in my lifetime with a keen eye always on the lookout for something new and useful.
Well I found one that covers both criteria and even though I have owned it for about 3 months it has been well used.
Anyone that does any amount of household maintence will be delighted with the Black & Decker SmartDriver with the Magnetic Screw Holder. It makes every job much easier and that is why I titled the review "The third hand."

I also called to double check on the price (plus looked at other sites) and they confirmed the $3997.00 price. I guess that means that they must track statistics of products "in stock" and only have one so they're pricing it at a level so that no one will buy it. Have to love wacky performance metrics. However, I bought one (at a store) and it's a great, simple idea, well done.

It's good to have "hand free" stability when using this product. A good little practical piece of engineering.
