I have been using this product for years - when I can find it in stores. You place a tablet in the toliet tank and it keeps the toliet bowl and tank free of rust for a long time. For some reason, our water is extremely hard and the toliet bowls get rusty within a few days without the use of Whink Rust Guard. We must have some other problem with our water as well, as our tank gets rusty and collects some strange "floating" things that come into the bowl and make it look nasty. These tablets work instantly (within a couple of flushes)on both of these problems. Any time I see the product in the store, I buy as many as I can. I have never heard of anyone else using them, must be why they are not in the store very often, but they work wonders - really!
