We just got this boucer today and I loved it as soon as I saw it - OK yes it looks good. My daughter, 2 months, LOVED it as soon as she sat in it! I have never seen her soooo comfortable (other than when I am holding her) She could sit up and watch everyone around her, and also move her arms, legs and head! Up till now she was just propped up in the Boppy but this is far better!

I agree with the above poster. The older one is almost half the price and seems identical. I'd stick with the older version.

We had a Baby Bjorn babysitter purchased in early 2007. It was fantastic and folded flat for easy storage. As far as I can see, the only difference besides the pleats is that ours was $99 and these are almost twice that. (I resold it on ebay for $60!). We loved it as it fit with our contemporary decor, was easily washable and wasn't plastic, but I would suggest looking for a used version of the older model and saving yourself a ton of money.
