I have 2 of these and they both are a pain! They work fine and then just stop. And the 'click' is so loud that I'm embarrassed to use them in class or at a conference in a room full of people. I waste so much time trying to get them to work again. I'll never buy this brand again. Our IT dept says to stick with Logitech.

Just got it today, and am using it now. This is my first laser mouse with an ultra compact wireless receiver, and so far I am loving it! It looks like it's as reliable as my old Kensington Ci75m dual-powered optical mouse (which is still working after more than 2 years of usage, by the way), but this model's much more dense in feel and doesn't look like it would break with heavy hands.
Usage is simply plug-and-play, and responsiveness is very good - at first I thought it was a bit jumpy (almost dashing my expectations for this mouse), but I just didn't slide the on/off switch up to the very end, which resulted in covering part of the laser sensor. I slid it up properly, and it works as well as my trusty old Ci75m mouse!
I cannot say much about its battery life yet, but I always note the date of first usage on the batteries with a Sharpie, so we'll see how it goes.

I am just sorry to report this little mouse is a dud. The low profile design is smart, makes the mouse easy to carry in a small case, easily portable. But it just doesn't have precise tracking performance and it's a shame because it wasn't cheap.
So far I have to bow to the best mouse I have found for my notebooks, the Logitech brand far surpases this item's disappointing performance. :-(

I've never written a review for anything, anywhere. Something had to make me pretty angry to get me here logging in, writing a review.
It's this mouse. It simply doesn't track AT ALL. I have tried everything. Mousepad, no mousepad. Clean desktop. Piece of paper. Nothing works. It won't go anywhere I try to make it go. If that makes sense. It either stalls and just sits there, not moving when it should, or it goes but it goes in a weird direction. Hard to explain. It will not track smoothly, that's all I know. And YES the batteries are fresh and the mousepad is clean and new.
If I hadn't thrown out the packaging already I would try to return this piece of crap. GAH! Even on a brand new mousepad, as I said, this thing won't track at all. It's sluggish one minute, and the next minute it's "drunk," as someone else put it. hops around. Sometimes it sort of jitters, or skips. Sometimes it . . . lags. Actually it lags a lot. You move to point at something and it WON'T GO. I end up jiggling it back and forth really fast over the mousepad TRYING to get it to TRACK smoothly. It won't.
Maybe I just got a defective one from the factory, I don't know. I'm surprised because of all the other positive reviews. That makes me think I just got a bad one.
If I thought I could get a refund without having the box or any of the packaging, I would try. This is totally unacceptable.

Mine has the "drunken mouse" problem to the point where it's TOTALLY USELESS!
I tried it on seven different mouse pads, pads my dirt-cheap Microsoft mouse has absolutely NO problems negotiating, it didn't work on any of them. It worked "best" (albiet sloppy) on a magazine cover.
I was all excited when it arrived too, as this was my initial forray into the world of mid-priced mice. Talk about "antici-pointment". It's a shame this pathetic piece of garbage is out-performed by bargain-basement mice you can get for half what they're asking for this.
It was delivered yesterday, it's in the garbage today! Less than 24 hours from mailbox to trash can. That's a record in this house.
Don't waste your money!
